Introduction
The Goods and Services Tax (GST) aims to reduce the number of indirect taxes and unify the Indian market. Regardless of the tax system, registration is recognized as a taxpayer. It is the most important requirement for ensuring tax compliance in the economy. GST registration of an entity to comply with the GST Act means obtaining a unique ID number for two purposes.
Taxes must be collected on behalf of the government and a tax credit must be retained for all arrivals. A unique number can be obtained from the relevant tax authorities. No registration means that you cannot collect taxes from your customers. It also means that you cannot claim a tax credit for the tax paid to the state.
